How to Register

Step One

Review the Rules

Rules vary by competition and change from year to year, so read them even if you competed last year. Read the competition rules.

Step Two

Purchase Your Competitor Pass

Every competitor needs a Competitor Pass. Get your Competitor Pass.

Also planning to attend NYISC? The 360 Dancer Pass includes all workshops, shows, concerts and socials across the weekend.

Bought a Full Pass before the name changed? You’re all set. Your ticket was automatically updated to a 360 Dancer Pass, the new name for what we previously called the Full Pass. Same access, same benefits, new name.

Step Three

Register for Your Divisions

Once you have your Competitor Pass, register for each division you plan to compete in through the Competition Store.

The earlier you register, the more you save. Division pricing rises as the event approaches.

Showcase Divisions Only Due August 15

Step Four

Submit Your Music

Competing in a Showcase Division? Email your music to compdj@newyorksalsacongress.com before August 15.

Label each file with your name and the division. Send a separate file for every division and category you’re entering.

Invite your friends & family to come watch!

All they need is a Competition Spectator Pass ($35)!

Competition Schedule

The NYIDC Competition takes place over two days:

Showcases: Saturday, September 5th
Heats: Sunday, September 6th

Competition begins at 10:00 AM both days.

Music

Competitors need to email music to compdj@newyorksalsacongress.com.

Please label the music and email with your name & the division you are competing in. You need to send a separate file for each division and category you are competing in.
